The transition period of the UK’s exit from the EU ended on 31 December 2020 and you’ll no doubt be aware that this saw the introduction of the new UK conformity assessment arrangements for manufactured goods being placed on the UK market and the establishment of the UK Explosives Approved Body (UK EAB) (please see https://www.hse.gov.uk/explosives/ce-marking/index.htm for further background information). To enable businesses to get ready for the new system, the Government allowed a 12-month transitional period which is due to end on 31 December 2021.

The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HSE_UK-EAB_survey and the closing date for responses is Wednesday 7 April 2021.
