We are pleased to announce that the 2020 International Symposium on Risk Assessment Approaches for Decision making is going virtual on November 18th and 19th 2020! Following on from the success of last years’ event, and the resulting book agreement with IOP publishers (planned publication January 2022), the 2020 event will be hosted entirely on line.

This year we are planning a bigger event with an on line virtual poster room, and an exhibitor space for our collaborators in addition to two days of presentations, including a key note presentation from Chief Inspector Ian Bond of the Metropolitan Police (details to be announced on the website soon) as well as presentations from some of last years’ speakers.

We are currently looking for speakers for the plenary and workshop sessions, as well as poster presentations. If you are interested please let us know, by return email or submit an abstract on the website: https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/events/symposia/risk. One of the great things about taking the symposium online is that we hope more international delegates can attend and present. The symposium will run from 9AM to ~16:30PM GMT.

This year we have partnered with the open access journal Heliyon (https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/events/symposia/risk) to publish a special edition following this years’ symposium with articles based on the presentations and posters presented at the symposium. If you would like to submit an article, please submit a poster or presentation abstract to the symposium. All invited abstracts from the symposium will have the open access fees waived.

Access to the event will be £125 for the two days, including access to the digital agenda, presentations, event spaces, poster exhibitions and workshops. Please forward this information to anyone who may be interested in attending.
