To make an application to become an IExpE Company member requires the submission of the completed application form together with all documents in support. You can monitor the progress of your application via your account on the IExpE website.
Qualifying Criteria
The organisation works in or with explosives.
Company Membership with IExpE is available to organisations operating within, or closely associated with, the explosives industry. The organisation must have an IExpE Member in the management of that work, and the organisation is not insolvent. Membership demonstrates a commitment to the highest professional standards, industry best practice, and the ongoing development of a competent and responsible workforce. It provides recognition of your organisation’s dedication to safety, professionalism and excellence within the sector.
Company membership holds the status of a non-voting member.
What you will need to provide:
- Application form.
- Health and Safety Policy.
- Public Liability Insurance.
- Annual Company Accounts.
- Certificate of Company Registration.
- Details of any notices served upon the Company by the Health and Safety Executive during the previous 12 month period (such as Improvement or Prohibition Notices), and confirmation of status.
- Application fee.
- Details of senior personnel who are required to be hold a current IExpE membership (Associate, Technical, Member or Fellow).
Referees:
Details of two referees who can confirm the details contained within the application, and the work of the organisation.
- Referee One – Holds a current IExpE Member membership.
- Referee Two – There is no requirement for this referee to hold a current IExpE membership
