Description

Job title: Trials and Facilities Support Coordinator

Location: Ridsdale, Hexham (Onsite)

Salary: £35,421

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing facilities management of buildings and equipment required for trials and tests, ensuring maintenance/improvements are completed within cost, on time, and to the required standards
  • Taking responsibility for export control on site, including licencing, inbound/outbound material, voluntary disclosures, screening, and access
  • Procuring of good and services
  • Ensuring the calibration database is maintained and all necessary equipment is calibrated in line with required standards
  • Carrying out internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001
  • Supporting site leads to ensure staff are trained and competent to carry out specified allocated tasks

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of contractor management
  • Experience of training coordination against Statutory and Regulatory Safety requirement
  • Knowledge of OHSAS ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO9001

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of SAP, PM, Teamcentre, Sharepoint, and SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations and export control
  • Hold a recognised Safety and Health Management qualification e.g. IOSH

The team:

This is a small, dedicated and highly experienced team, in this role you will be working alongside the testing team, senior management, a range of sub-contractors and the export control team. This role will give you the chance to get involved in the management and coordination of training session for the site personnel. There will also be the opportunity to build your knowledge on export controls and SHE processes.
