Job title: Team Co-ordinator

Location: Glascoed, South Wales

Salary: £37,887

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working alongside scheduling to understand the manufacturing plan to maximise customer requirements and provide Subject Matter Expert advice as the area supervisor in optimising facility performance
  • Keeping accurate records of batches and lots of materials both chemical and energetic, to provide traceability and conformity of product
  • Ensuring all Safety, Health & Environment regulations are adhered to onsite, through following Standard Operating Procedures, shop licences, limits, and ensuring Personal Protective Equipment compliance
  • Maintaining quality standards for the process including, process log books, startup sheets, written shift handovers, Data Capture forms and raising any concerns regarding product quality to the Quality Assurance team
  • Monitoring the performance of the process by recording hours, output, reject and waste materials correctly on Data Capture form, Route cards and SAP
  • Communicating with the Process Leaders and team by participating during the Daily Start Up meetings/ Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People meetings, Toolbox Talks, and throughout quarterly 121s and monthly meetings

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a team co-ordinator/leader role
  • IT literate i.e., MS office
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels

Desirable:

  • Background in Laboratory/Chemistry
  • IOSH qualification
