Do you have experience developing or managing survivability systems on military platforms? Would you like to deliver key survivability systems to some of the most critical programmes in the defence of the UK? If so, we have a unique opportunity to join the Land Equipment Operating Centre here at DE&S!

You will join a team of highly skilled engineering professionals on the Challenger 2 Life Extension Project (LEP). This role will be paramount to the success of the programme concerned with ballistic survivability. Whilst delivering key survivability systems to the Challenger 2 LEP, you will be responsible for all technical aspects of a particular sub system, including managing requirements and engaging with suppliers and wider stakeholders. This will involve working closely with the wider Challenger 2 LEP team to ensure integration with all the other equipment on the platform is carried out to the best standard.

As a Survivability Engineer, you will be working with sovereign technology whilst supporting those on the front line. In return, we will offer you unrivalled development opportunities including funded professional qualifications, market leading employer pension contributions and support to ensure your work-life balance.
