Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Being the responsible Quality authority for the Washington Site
  • Ensuring operational compliance to specifications and quality standards (i.e. ISO9001)
  • Providing support and line management responsibility for Quality Team (direct reports)
  • Offering subject matter expertise with regards to quality standards, operations tools, and techniques
  • Supporting and energising others across the business to identify and implement their improvement ideas
  • Continually improving manufacturing processes and implementing Lean Manufacturing methods
  • Ensuring governance of site Quality Management System (QMS) applicable to Site Operations

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree in a desirable discipline (Science / Engineering / Manufacturing / Aerospace) or time served in an Engineering discipline with substantial experience and supporting qualifications
  • Previous experience managing Quality Systems in a manufacturing environment of a similarly highly controlled nature (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, pharma, medical devices, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience with statistical control methods and systems, with a proven ability to implement and use appropriately (for example, Six Sigma Black Belt)
  • Experience managing and developing teams to a standard that assures the provision of operational support, governance, and analytical expertise to assist in process optimisation

The Site Quality team:
