Description

Job title: Quality Controller

Location: Glascoed, South Wales

Salary: £37,263 (plus 23% shift allowance)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring operational compliance to specifications and quality standards e.g. ISO9001
  • Inspecting “First Off” items for Quality Department approval and ensure the product conforms to technical specifications and drawings
  • Reviewing shop floor manufacturing records and collating and reviewing data, along with responding to any changes or trends
  • Supporting the resolution of quality issues and the internal audit process
  • Driving and supporting targeted Continuous Improvement activities

Your skills and experiences:

  • Relevant experience of Quality within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a highly controlled nature (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, medical devices etc.)
  • Excellent numeracy, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of MS office
  • Ability to work shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm on a rotational basis

The Operations Quality team:

As a Quality Controller, you will work within Operations Quality within the manufacturing area of the site. The Operations Quality Team are here to assure we deliver products and processes which meet the quality requirements of our specifications and standards. Our mission is to find the best possible solutions to quality challenges and implement across our site.
