Job title: Operational Technology Security Project Manager (24-month FTC)

Salary: £53,928

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing the delivery of the Operational Technology (OT) Security project for P3 assets, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation
  • Completing any continuation work from previous project phases (P1 and P2 approvals)
  • Working with Land, Chief Technology Officer / Chief Information Security Officer, Maritime, other BAE functions, and third-party contractors to maintain a delivery plan and schedule
  • Leading the team to deliver the approved scope to schedule and budget in line with agreed delivery approach
  • Driving project progress, resolving issues, and providing updates to the Steering Group monthly
  • Using internal networks, contacts, and knowledge from the organisation across the CTO, EIT and Maritime to engage and gather support from a wide and complex array of stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience in a technical project management role within IT or Manufacturing
  • Ability to work with a large number of stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of business change management

Desirable:

  • Previous role within Operational Technology Security
  • Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2, APM, PMP

The Operational Technology Security team:

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the BAE Systems Land business unit in the implementation of Operational Technology Security improvements across all 5 of our sites. You will get to work with a range of internal stakeholders across the business including Engineers, IM&T, Solution Architects to name a few. You will also work with and manage the third-party contractors involved in the project.
