Description
Salary:
£45,000 – £57,000 inc shift premium, dependent on shift pattern (min basic pay of £36,060)
What you’ll be doing:
-
Site maintenance and installation activities
-
Minor/major repairs
-
Breakdown response and diagnostics to resolve manufacturing equipment issues
-
Support to contractors during technical works
-
Attendance at site operational meetings as required
-
Execution of work orders from the site CMMS
-
Update of work order details to maintain the asset database for the site on all works performed
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
-
Time served Mechanical/Craft apprenticeship (or similar) preferably with HNC/HND qualification
-
Manufacturing industry experience working to time pressure and performance metrics
Desirable:
-
Safety Qualifications (e.g. IOSH, working at height, MEWP licence)

Knowledge and working experience with CNC’s, Hydraulic and Power Presses

Our Maintenance Team:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will carry out a varied range of mechanical activities that protect the Washington site and ensure capability for manufacturing teams to perform their duties. This will include planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response/repairs and work requests.
