Description

Salary:

£45,000 – £57,000 inc shift premium, dependent on shift pattern (min basic pay of £36,060)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Overseeing production lines producing munitions

  • Programming, setting and running a range of CNC machines

  • Working largely unsupervised in a busy machining shop

  • Passing on your knowledge and experience to other team members

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Time served engineering apprenticeship

  • Ability to program, set and run a range of CNC turning machines

  • Understanding and experience working with engineering drawings

Desirable:

  • Familiar with Fanuc automated robot load/unload systems

Our Maintenance Team:

As a CNC Machinist / Turner, you will use your CNC machining experience to join a growing team in a permanent role where you will be contributing to the production of munitions for our Armed Forces.

We have several vacancies available due to the continued expansion across our Land UK sites with BAE Systems securing new orders for the supply of munitions to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
