Course Description
Use the application of appropriate research methodology to discover new learning and build on that knowledge to demonstrate mastery of the subject area. To write technical reports at a professional level that evidence the depth and breadth of knowledge gained during the course.
Take full responsibility for planning, methods, resource and quality. Classify, analyse and develop the facts, principles and theories pertinent to the project and apply them. Move confidently between the above knowledge and other areas of study. Assess the scope of the task as it develops, appraise and evaluate.
Suggested Attendees
Not yet completed L7 learning, post graduate certificates and diplomas may be able to claim Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) to reduce the credits required. Those without formal qualifications but with extensive experience can complete an RPL portfolio to gain credits.
Course Length
Without RPL, complete course in 180 credits, recommended at 60 credits a year. Studying the final 60 credits, recommended at one academic year.
