Membership Subscription Rates

The Council fixed the following rates of Subscription for the year ending 31st December 2010.

Membership Category UK & EU All Other Countries
Company Members £500 £510
Company Affiliates £450 £460
Fellows £125 £135
Members £100 £110
Associates £80 £90
Students £55 £65
Retired Members £55 £65

Retired rate available only to persons over 60 years of age on 1/1/2010, not in active employment and on written application.

Application Fee

A £60 Application Fee is payable at the time of sending in the application form for all categories of applicant, other than Students for whom the fee is waived. Payment of this fee is by cheque only, and these should be made payable to the “Institute of Explosives Engineers”. Please note that this payment is not the subscription; it is used to cover the cost of processing the initial application of aspiring members.

Annual Subscriptions

The first annual subscription will become due when you receive acknowledgement of your membership status from the Institute Secretariat. The Certificate of Membership will be sent to the applicant as soon as we receive this payment.

Overseas Members

All remittances from must be paid to the Institute in UK sterling.
